When it comes to designing an interior space, the color palette usually becomes the first step, and is the most important element. When it comes to designing, even the tiniest details can make a major impact.
“Each color on the spectrum has its own specific wavelength, black does not have a wavelength because it is considered the absence of all light. Black is a neutral color, which is often used to “stabilize” or subdue more vibrant colors that run the risk of being overpowering. Because of these stabilizing properties, black can feel very powerful.”
The versatility of black gives me the opportunity to add different elements, like plants and wood. Somehow, this feels cozy and safe, rather than claustrophobic and oppressive.
I was responsible for the visual style and images in magazines, web and social media. I created overall design for this project, and I also directed the 3D Visualization. I created the interior design with Sketchup for easy collaboration with the team on this amazing project.
